Akiko Mik combines composition, performance- and visual art, currently based in The Hague
Starting with writing for her own voice, piano and guitar, she created an intimate atmosphere with personal lyrics and vulnerable performances. She later added electronics, other acoustical instruments and music production to her own musical style. She is on the search of combining elements of experimental pop music, live electronics, interdisciplinairy art works and modern art music. Together merging into atmospheric, emotional works that tell multi layered personal and recognisable stories
